Is the Gold Plus 100 Bonus Points/Day Promotion Over?
Can't seem to find anything on this subject. I thought I saw something somewhere indicating this promotion was extended until 12/15 or 12/31/11. AND I'm hoping it gets extended into 2012! Please update me on this if you know anything.

This ended on 12/15. I had a rental from 12/15-12/18, I thought I might get 100/day because the rental started on 12/15, but I only earned 100 - for just 12/15 I assume.

Random, haphazard, and quite confusing! I have more than a dozen rentals during this period, of varying lengths. Figuring out which got credit and which did not is difficult and time-consuming.
Are folks writing to Hertz customer service to seek the missing credit? Seeking credit in some other way? Still waiting?

This was... by far and away... the most best and generous promotion I have ever seen with #1 Award Points (or Gold Plus Points or whatever it's called this week).
And it really calls attention to the fact that (in the absence of this bonus) it takes forever to save up points the standard way.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)
Amen to that... this promo marked the first time #1 Club has ever factored into my choice of rental companies...

This promo enticed me to rent from Hertz almost 10 times. I especially liked the fact that I could combine the 100 points with earning FF miles.
If anyone at Hertz is listening, if the promo were extended, it would earn Hertz more of my business again for sure.

I'd really like to know what other car rental company has rewards better than Hertz normal points program. I never got anything useful from Avis except higher rates. I never needed free weekend rentals when they gave those. Enterprise didn't have a rewards program when I used to rent from them. And I don't know about National... I'm not about miles and bonus miles. That's easy to figure out. I'm asking about who has the best rewards program for getting free car rentals.
