CCAR vs CDAR Car Type
I noticed that if you go through the "Vehicle Guide" portion of the Hertz website you have finer control over which car type you get on the reservation. Going this route for a compact car you can choose either:
Nissan Versa or Similar Compact 2 or 4 dr. CCAR OR: Nissan Cube or Similar Compact 2 or 4 dr. CDAR Does it actually make a difference? More specifically, I am considering doing the Drive to Arizona one way promo renting from a HLE. Since it is a road trip, I'd prefer to get something with cruise control and keyless entry. |

Both size probably come with keyless entry and maybe cruise control but neither are guaranteed. It might be a good idea to call the HLE location and let them know that those are your preferences. Often, they will keep an eye out for you... |
