Question Is this a government rate?

Question ... is this a government rate?

I am a State employee and travel a lot, but didn't realize Hertz did a gov't discount?

Any more details on this would be greatly appreciated!

I'm a State employee in CA and I've used this CDP all the time with no issues. Saved myself a ton of money when I'm travelling for business and personal use.

Quoting in AMS, comes up with more expensive quotes than standard Airline and/or CC CDP's.

Yes. I found the same for LHR and DUB. Seems like this is basically good for domestic US only, which is fairly understandable.

Sorry to bump such an old thread but does this rate code still work under its intended purchase for government and non-profit employees for personal use? I work in a local government and just wanted to make sure that I won’t get turned away. From the reports from 11 years ago, it sounds like they won’t even ask for it but I’ll bring my employee ID badge with me.

I for one am glad you bumped this as I had no idea it even existed. Thank you!

Now I am interested as well if anyone has any recent experience using the code within the US.

Although it was stated in the OP that the Hertz "government" CDP could also be utilized by employees of nonprofits for leisure use, it appears that Hertz also has another CDP just for employees of nonprofits. Details here:
