i'll be flying out of HNL this weekend and I should be allowed access to the Qantas Club with my British Airways silver status. but i'm actually flying on American to LAX so i'm wondering if it's do-able/practical to go to the Qantas Club (which the map shows is airside, EWA concourse above gate 26) before my flight on AA. I'm guessing that the AA flight will depart from the center gate area of 14-23. do you have any info about this? do you know how long it would take to walk from the Qantas Club to where AA departs and if i'd have to clear security again? mahalo in advance! :) |

A Question and a Thank You...
Before my question I want to thank you for this excellent reference to connecting in HNL...this was so incredibly helpful in planning my honeymoon trip to LIH next Monday. Without reading this I probably would have gone through the hassle of exiting security, claiming bags and rechecking in for the HA flight to LIH. Now we can just spend more time in the President's Club!
Here is my question: We are flying DL BWI-ATL-HNL and HA HNL-LIH, separate tickets. I'm planning on using HA online check-in before we leave and having the bags checked through to LIH as you have written we can do. Is it still possible to check-in online with DL and then just ask the DL agents at BWI to check the bags through to LIH? I want to avoid spending as much time at BWI as possible on a Monday morning... Thanks in advance for any advice anyone may have...also let me know if my question does not make sense...we were up until 2:00am doing last minute wedding details so the brain is running a little slow this morning. Thanks! |
