Maui Accomodations

Does anyone know of reasonable lodging on Maui for a family? This would be a place with a kitchen and a few bedrooms, like a condo.

We're planning on staying for three days or so it's not for a long-term rental.

We recommend the travel book "Maui Revealed." It has a nice "where to stay" section, and lists quite a few condos, and what to expect from them. Al;so if you have a couple months, try www.visitmaui.com for good info, and to order a free guide book on line (not that great, but does give the basics).

Condos and houses often have a 5 day minimum, or if they don't you pay extra by having to pay a cleaning fee or something.

Here is an affordable condo complex in Kihei (borderline to Wailea), Maui. It is oceanfront and a great location. They have 1 and 2 bedrooms.

We rented 7 units and all were nice.
