Store(s) on Maui with a good selection of sake?
Thread title says it all. On past Maui trips trips have tried the Tamura liquor store & the Takamiya Market, but found the sake selections to be small. Anyone know of other places to look on Maui with larger selections? We're particularly interested in extra-dry sake. Yes, we're spoiled; we live in Seattle & so have Uwajimaya as our source, but would rather not haul bottles with us on our upcoming trip.

I can't answer your question directly, but can suggest that you send an inquiry to the couple who run this store in Honolulu. The Sake Shop | Hawaii's First Retail Sake Store They are super-friendly and plugged into the local sake scene and can probably point you in the right direction. If you are on Facebook, they are very active on their page.

Sake found (sort of)
FWIW, we found a moderate assortment of "good" sake at a Long's Drugstore, but found higher-end Born Gold, a Junmai daiginjo, at TJ's Warehouse; no, NOT Trader Joe's, rather a Japanese-Korean "warehouse" of Asian foods & just about everything else, e.g, foods, kitchen equipment, etc, etc
