Bus: Hilton Waikiki to HNL airport?
 

Can someone please let me know whether I could perhaps catch a public bus from somewhere close to the Hilton Waikiki? If yes, how frequently does the bus run and how long should I expect the journey to take?

If you mean the Hilton Waikiki Beach on Kuhio, there is a bus stop right outside at the corner of Liliuokalani and Kuhio. Routes 19 and 20 go to the airport. Use this link and input 2500 Kuhio as origin and HNL as destination. http://thebus.org. It takes about an hour and costs $2.50. Each line runs every 20 mins so with two routes, you would find a bus roughly every 10 mins or so, depending on the time of day/night.

If you mean the Hilton Hawaiian Village, input that as your origin.

Keep in mind that TheBus is not very luggage friendly. There is no space designated for suitcases and any bags must fit under your seat or on your lap.
