One night stopover in Honolulu

I need to stop over for one night in Honolulu and would appreciate any recommendations for an airport hotel. I was trying to avoid the time and expense involved in getting to/from the Waikiki area.

The three hotels I found online (Airport Honolulu Hotel, Pacific Marina Inn & BW Plaza) all look pretty dismal.

Does anybody have an alternative suggestion?

I would never recommend anyone using a HNL airport hotel.

Some hotels not in Waikiki that might be considered:

Pagoda

Executive Center

The Kahala Hotel

The first two will much less expensive than the last.

Those are the "usual suspects" and I know of no others.

I would be inclined to pick the first, as I have had good results with other Outrigger properties.
