Condos at Turtle Bay
We have reservations for our last two nights (following our timeshare stay in Koolina) in Waikiki. But, my sister and her family will be staying in the Condos at Turtle Bay those days and we are considering swapping. We've stayed in the hotel before, but the condos are much cheaper for a family of 5 (only need one condo instead of 2 rooms).
I recognize that the condos don't have views of the water and that they are individually owned. We've located one with air conditioning in all rooms that will sleep 5 for a great price. But, I'm nervous. Are we making a big mistake? It's only for two nights and if we did this we'd swap our polynesian cultural center trip for one of those days so we would only spend 1 day there and two nights before flying home. |
Condos at Turtle Bay
Hello -- The condos are fine, not great, not bad. Not as nice at the Ko'Olina :)
The condos are good for a family. We've stayed in a couple. Your condo will probably be in Kuilima Estates. Easy walk to the hotel and beach. Instead of walking to the hotel you can walk west past the horse stables and end up at Kawela Bay. Nice bay and a good chance you will have it to yourself. Here's a map: http://www.turtlebayresort.com/_file...resort_map.pdf Or, from the condos wait until evening when the golfers are gone and walk across the golf course to the ocean. The only bad thing is depending on the time of day it can take a while to get to HNL. |
