Magic Space Enhancer

Anyone have a clue how extra leg room gets added to the existing A330 fleet?

380-394 will have the bulkhead partition removed between Row 3 and Row 11 so all that will separate the two cabins is a small curtain hanging under the overhead bin.

The seats will then be retro-fitted to allow for more leg room.

That is interesting, but how does row 14 and 33 all of a sudden get 5 more inches?

By removing the bulkhead, they were able to spread the seats in rows 11, 12 and 13 out, allowing for the extra space. Rows 14, 33 and 34 are bulkhead seats already, with lots of room. A curtain will hang behind the AB and HJ seats and a soft divider will hang between the middle F seats and the middle seats in row 11.

This reconfiguration also debuts a new color palate onboard the 330, seen at the moment on a/c 395, the newest 330. I'm surprised nobody is talking about that.

Very interesting. Is this information published, or is it "insider" knowledge?

Extra comfort has been public for maybe about 2 months now. A/C 395 is flying around in the new color palate, so it's public knowledge there's a new color palate on the inside. All the new deliveries will be in this design and as mentioned in the Extra Comfort debut, all the current planes will be retro-fitted between January and June in time for the June launch of Extra Comfort.

Has anyone gotten any new word on whether Extra Comfort seats will be either complimentary or available at a discount to Gold, Platinum, and or Premiere Club members? The website still says nothing about this.

SJC-OGG

Does anyone know if they plan on running the A330's to and from SJC? If they are, will it be in time for my trip at the end of June 2014? Thank you.
