for example OW HNL-LAS 139 or 149 which is a great fare as current low fare was 434

I have friends trying to visit me and were unable to find the sale fares for OAK-LIH. They even called res and the rep tried for an hour to get them the $139 category fare. No luck. They can get around $440 RT which isn't bad, but not what was advertised. Has anyone been able to get OAK-LIH? If so, what dates?

As a test, I did BUR-OGG for the first week of June, total priced out at $279 w/ all taxes.

This sale is based on available seats only. AQ doesn't provide info on what bucket the sale is under but if there's no seats available under that bucket, there's no sale seats left on the plane.

Mahalo, Slippahs. I understand the inventory availability, but I was surprised that the same day the ad appeared in the paper, and the day BEFORE I received the email about the sale from Aloha, there appeared to be no availability for the entire month of March on the OAK-LIH route. Doen't seem right, somehow. Did AQ not load inventory for that route? The sale was just announced. That's why I was wondering if ANYONE got OAK-LIH in March.

See, that's the thing. I'm assuming AQ had very poor availability on that route and therefore had no seats to sell at the sale price to begin with. From what I've heard, they've loaded all the special fares into their system. It's just a matter if you can pull up the right flights.

June 3 to June 7, OGG/LAS r/t for $293.19 all taxes included on AQ.

Looks like there is no problem with availability to/from OGG. Once again, Kauai "the distant island", misses out on all the benefit. We've come to expect this type of treatment here. Don't get me started on what little coverage we get from the Honolulu TV staions!

I did check out a rt flight from LIH to LAS in March at $295. It does seem to work out to the Garden Island. I lived out behind Kapaa High and out in Anahola. Loved it there but got a little tired of being called a #$@# haole every other day. But that is off the subject. aloha.
