Power in Seats

Does anyone know if HA 767 from San Diego have power inverters in the Coach seats.

No, they don't. In fact, on the flight I was on yesterday the person in front of me reclined all the way back for the entire flight and there was so little space I could not even open my laptop in order to use it. It's really cramped.

You know, even after leasing new jets, you'd think HA would consider putting laptop power options into the plane. Oh well http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/rolleyes.gif I guess if you really want power, you need to fly the other non-local carriers.

Aloha

Since few people travel to Hawaii on business it makes little sense for Hawaiian to do this.

Buy a second battery and you should be fine.

But you'd be amazed at how much business travel has been picking up lately to the islands. There have been a lot of conventions, etc...

On a redeye on CO from HNL-IAH, I saw about 10 laptop users clicking and typing away. So that just goes to show that many, even though on vacation, still bring their laptops here and on their return look forward to taking care of some work... still think it's a good idea for HA to have power...

But then again, if I were running HA, I'd drive the company into the ground in one week flat. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

People use laptops for work?

It sometimes happens when the DVD drive isn't in use.

Business travel may be increasing, but there is simply not enough business traffic on this route to support this. If it is that important to you there are competitors that have this available....
