Covid First Class Service

Does Hawaiian serve alcohol in First Class to the mainland in these days of Covid cutbacks? I noticed that Delta has started serving beer and wine again.

I answered my own question. Yes HAL will offer alcohol to first class passengers to the mainland.

Great! How did you find this out?

A friend of mine flew from HNL to SEA and enjoyed drinks both directions.

That's pretty standard with what most U.S. airlines are doing for flights of this length

What about inter-island F service? Is there any currently?

Even before Covid, inter-island F was extremely limited: just a drink on plastic cups and a small packaged snack.

Yes, I'm well aware. Just curious if there's currently any F service on inter-island flights?

Even Y prior to Covid got a small cup of water or guava juice so I doubt they will deny you a beverage in F now

From my experience last month: interisland F service is like normal. HNL-JFK had normal F&B service except meal served on a single tray. The vegetarian pasta meal portion was tiny.

Going to be flying to OGG out of Sea 09:50 am flight, do you know if we get just one meal and if it is brunch or lunch?

Does the A330 have entertainment screens or are tablets handed out?

I believe that is a brunch flight. The switch to lunch/dinner is for 10am departures or later.

Ten minutes too early, ah well, brunch option doesn't look too bad.

HNLbasedFlyer Aug 18, 2021 10:09 am

The good. They really nail predeparture drinks in F with multiple offerings in F. Printed menu.

The bad - not everyone likes mushrooms and just 1 entree choice for breakfast with mushrooms. I get people like mushrooms but no other choice?

Scored a coveted 40,000 award LAS-HNL. With that said I’m surrounded by Non-Rev employees and that award shouldn’t be that difficult
