Hawaiian Airlines A330 First Class Row 1 - Your Experience

Hi there,

I have booked a flight from SFO-OGG with HA with seats 1H & 1J (window seats on the right).
I heard on SeatGuru by other passengers that these seats have extra legroom, so the window passenger can easily get out while the passenger is in a lie flat position.

What has been your experiences in row 1 (any of the seats) ?
Was the noise from the cabin crew disruptive ?

All the window/aisle seats are configured with ottomans that have a tiny space through which the window passenger can pass through. If ease of aisle access is paramount, 1 CG is the way to go.

Also apparently more foot room on row 1 of the window seats..

In hindsight Iím sure all are comfy for a 5 hour ride.

Too much choice 🙂.

I prefer row 1 but think that all F seats are nice and spacious. I booked these same seats and hope that we are on different flights or things will get awkward!!

Cabin crew noise isnít an issue but I wear headphones to listen to music or watch the tablet

glad we werenít on the same flight. We avoided an awkward situation.
The staff is really nice but I could hear more than necessary from the galley. I still prefer Row 1 because itís jusr so nice and I like having a wall in front of me instead of seeing other people
so Iím not sure what the correct answer should be but I will hopefully still target row 1 in the future

Just wondering is the leg space bigger for your feet, than the other rows?
I assuming itís better as their is no seats in the way..

Fair enough, I just read too much comments on SeatGuru. Spend too much time thinking about this stuff. Then forget to plan the rest of the trip..

I can confirm that the footwell in Row 1 CG sears are the most generous. All other F seats are smaller.

interesting you mentioned that SeatGuru comments say otherwise.
Iím finding the standard recommendations on SeatGuru have to be taken with a grain of salt.

I don’t know about footwell size but I prefer the window area more than the middle.

On our flight OGG-SFO, half of F was empty! Wow. No free upgrades.

There are zero free upgrades on flights outside of Hawaii. With the exception of a few free certificates issued to Plats.
