(JFK to Honolulu to Asia and back)

Thanks!

"O" fares have never been creditable to other-airline programs for as long as I can remember. That bucket almost always contains the fares for special interisland promotions and other low-ball transpacific fares (ie. the $400RT JFK-HNL flights from last winter).

In fact, the earnings charts linked below also show no sight of "O" fares:

but I assume "O" fare(Trans-Pac and JFK-HNL) will still earn miles
in HA's own program?

Thanks! :)

Yes. 100% of miles flown for North America and Transpacific flights, and a flat 100 miles for interisland flights.

Yes, from the food, music, uniforms, videos, etc - a very Hawaiian look and feel right from the start when you get on the plane

Absolutely! From "island" music upon boarding to FA uniforms (aloha patterns) to the food and service, it definitely is an island atmosphere!

In fact, I love flying HA to HNL. Coming back, it's a bit difficult because you are LEAVING the islands -- might as well take one of the mainland carriers.
