Does HA Remove Flights From Website When They Are Sold Out?

Aloha,

Lets see if I can explain this without confusing myself or anyone else. I have four tickets on a flight from HNL-LIH. These tickets were bought a while back. On my HA miles website, my itinerary is still showing this flight as booked/confirmed. That said, when I punch in the date on the "reservation" page the flight is not there.

Question. Once a flight is completely sold out does HA remove the flight from it's bookable schedule so it doesn't get oversold? Or is this a precursor that the flight did get dropped and I will need to rebook? I think that the last time this happened, it took several weeks for HA to notifiy me of a schedule change.

I did check the flight schedule under "sitemap" and the flight shows up. That said, I checked on my other flights I have while on vacation and a flight from HNL-OGG does not show up under the flight schedule but shows up under the reservations portion of the website.

Yes, if a flight sells out they remove it from the bookable schedule.
