Any HNL-HND Trip Reports?

I have not been on HA's first HNL-HND flight, which started yesterday (Nov.17, Wed.) Just curious to see if any FTers out there have been on the first flight, on HA 457?

If you are in the islands, I saw on channel 9 (Hawaii News Now) tonight that they have a reporter on the flight who will report about the trip to HND and the return flight to HNL. They will air the report at the 5PM HST newscast on Thursday 11/18.

I believe the first flight is still in the air so we won't get any trip reports until after it lands, if any.

On this end, there was a press viewing focused on business class meal of the flights.

19 pics from Asahi Shimbun website.

The salmon looks bigger than UA's.

and those pictures even manage to make HA's domestic-like F seats look nice.

The food looks better than anything I ever had in F on the MNL flights.

Thanks O Sora! Very nice to see photos from the other side's perspective.

Yes, it will get too extremely tired while they are flying out HNL-HND due to long jetlags flight.

I love the last pic... no focus on the fact that the seat's not lie flat, but good golly look at that quilt blanket! (http://translate.google.com/translat...%2Fhawaiian%2F)

The channel 9 news reporter interviewed someone who said that they are training the flight attendants to anticipate the passengers' needs.

An HA press release seems to discuss this as well:

So not FT report on this hot new flight on HA out of HNL/HND? Come on, it was
advertised like the moon and the world collided on Nov 17? Curious how HA is doing?

Not much in the local JP news apart from how the new terminal at HND was crowded with shoppers and sightseers after its opening. As for the new HA flights between HND and HNL, I'll report back after the holidays.
