Frankfurt? Frankfurt?? Are you serious? Berlin is the hot spot, no question. It's a bustling, exciting, challenging city. Do it!

Berlin, though I usually fly to Frankfurt and travel a bit around Germany to get to Berlin. Until my very last trip (fourth to Germany), I'd never spent more than a few hours in Frankfurt even though every flight was from there.

When flying to Berlin try booking a flight into Tempelhof airport. It's like how arriving from an aircraft was meant to be.

SN Brussels, Cirrus Airlines and Sterling Airlines are some that still do..

But back to the OP.. Frankfurt is a dump! Berlin wins everytime, it has everything.

With all due respect to any Tar Heels hanging in this forum, before I went to Frankfurt for the first time, MegatopLover advised me that going to Frankfurt is like going to Charlotte. I gotta say that the analogy was spot on.
