It wasn't me... but I wore mine at BOS Pride this year. I have both an old style one and the new style that you can now order on-line.

XL (at 9th Avenue and 16th or 17th) is closed - I don't know what happened but a friend told me last night - I checked the listings, and yep, it's closed, permanently it appears.

Bummer, it will most likely open and be renamed soon, like many NY clubs...

What is your fave place now???

I walked by Vlada last night - nice and shiny and new, but I didn't go in, since I was in a hurry (if I do go, it'll be during the week, probably) - I like the old standbys like G, The Hangar, Stonewall occasionally, even Splash for something different - there are new places that have opened, but I haven't really been hanging out that much. I need a new attitude, I guess.

My favorites are Sidetrack in Chicago (love the non smoking area) and Vlada in NYC (Love the infussed vodka)

When you reply in October to a post made in August and there are many intervening posts, PLEASE make it clear what bar you are talking about!

LA's hot sport

I think the best gay bar in the world is the Abbey i West Hollywood. If it is not crowded there its not going to be crowded anywhere in LA. Also fun during day time. Other than that i like Home Bar in Shanghai

Tokyo Gay Bar

Arty Farty in Shinjuku 2chome. It is a cozy bar with decent dance music and petite dance floor.

Advocate in tihe same area is a cool al-fresco bar, but I don't want to freeze my pants off at this time of the year.

Phoenix, Arizona - Definitely Amsterdam on Central! It's as nice as most bars in "real" cities like New York or LA

Is Home&Bar open now? It was closed this summer, during which time Club Deep reigned as the local favorite, and I had a great time there. Nice sofas for sure!

It's more a club, but TWILO in Miami has been brilliant each of the 3 times I have been there. Great sound, lighting, friendly bar staff, nice clean premises.
