I have a biz trip coming up in apr. flying into LHR and out of FRA. i have some free days and trying to decide whether to spend them in budapest or prague. i have been to both but it was a while ago and don't remember much. which one is more gay-friendly or has a nicer, more approachable gay scene for a solo traveler? i've been pretty much everywhere in europe, but willing to entertain other cities as well. TIA!

Of course PRG is much more "gay friendly" and accepting.
Czech republic is known to be very liberal.

Prague has more gay bars and gay nightlife.

Budapest is a wonderful place to visit though.

I'd avoid Budapest these days, but that's solely because of Viktor Orbán and his repression. That said, I may be more political in my travel choices, so I'm throwing out my reason for avoiding it for the sake of full disclosure, but I also love Budapest.

Other than that, I second what carlosdca said; Prague has long been pretty open.

Are all three of us denizens of DC? If so, howdy neighbors!
