Vancouver Advice
Hi everyone!
I'm hoping to travel to Vancouver in May 2018 after a lot of recommendations from friends. I was wondering if anyone could advise on any 'must-do' activities and recommendations for hotels?
I will be there for 10 days and have a variety of interests and like being outdoors.

two recommendations
My PF is the Grouse Grind. Some people train for it.
Another is to cycle around Stanley Park. Rentals are ubiquitous in and around the adjacent streets.

Hotel: The Sandman on Davie St. Right in the center of the gay village, opposite the Pumpjack and just up the street from Numbers. It's walk able from Yaletown - Roundhouse SkyTrain station, or catch the C23 bus if it's raining ( it might be raining - it's Vancouver ! )

10 days sounds like a long time just to spend in the city. For a first time visitor, I’d cut that down to 3-5 nights (over a weekend of course!). Doing day trips out of the city is doable, but Vancouver traffic will mean your range will be limited, unless you like spending a lot of time in the car.
Try to get to Kelowna/Okanagan Valley (wineries) for a few nights, it’s only a few hours drive. Or, try to get across to Victoria on Vancouver Island (ferry or plane).
