Soho House
We were just there and stayed 4 nights at the new(ish) Soho House. Gorgeous (and very, very gay-friendly) property with a huge gym and spa and a lovely rooftop pool and bar area. Located in Beyoglu close to the metro, tunel, and various trams. Highly recommended (and be sure to try the fantastic restaurant called Meze by Lemon Tree across the street).

Soho house is supposed to be uber-trendy. Were the rooms and beds comfy?

Pera Palace
I always stay at the Pera Palace. Fantastic location. Can't recommend it enough.
