Medellin?
 

Any advice? I've been to Bogota and loved it (and posted about it on here at some point). Now off to Medellin, which generally gets rave reviews. Suggestions welcome -- not just the gay stuff, but everything.

My partner and I were in Medellín in September. It was wonderful. We didn't go to clubs but we stayed at Hotel Diaz. It was good and we recommend it.

The trip from the airport is long and involves crossing a mountain in a taxi driven at high speed. if you our your partner are prone to motion sickness I suggest Dramamine before leaving the airport.

Thanks. Agree that Medellin was wonderful. I ended up going out (only) Saturday night to a club called Culture Club. It was convenient to El Poblado and quite busy. Also quite beautiful, with a gregarious, welcoming crowd.

Medellin really lived up to its repuation as a visitor-friendly city. I stayed at Hotel Charlee, which was fantastic, and generally explored up and down the length of the bustling and very, very friendly city.

Any updates for Medellin? This thread is about 3+ years old so looking for anything you may know! I'll be there in early April. Thanks!

Lol. I've read that "call centers" are big business in Colombia. I was thinking something else altogether.....
Anyway, if anyone has an update, please post here.
Also thinking of flying up to Cartagena for a few days, if Medellin is quiet in terms of gay life.

I don't think people go to Colombia for gay nightlife.
If you want to have fun and get laid, go to Buenos Aires, Rio, Sao Paulo or Mexico.

Uhhh I meant, how about gay bars, clubs, restaurants, gay areas?

You could also get laid anywhere on the planet. You don't need to be in those 4 locations, lol.
Oh, and I've been to all 4 of those places. Yawn.

I think Colombia is a GREAT place to get laid.
Lots of horny and handsome man everywhere.
There are even parties "Berlin style"

Not speaking Spanish might be a little bit of a problem but very little.

You should go to LAB on Friday (side entrance attracted to Berghain). That's where it's at!

Of course Colombia is not Berlin.

But it is definitely happening, more than Sao Paulo or Mexico.

Didn't find Mexico City or Rio happening either. Had more fun in BA.
