India - "Indjapink" / Anyone Have Experiece?

Has anyone used Indjapink travel agency? I received a quote from them for individual travel (private tours, drivers, guides, etc, some escorted introduction to gay bars / parties) for “Temples, Fort & the Taj”.

India has been on my wish list, and I want to do my first visit on an organized tour. I thought a gay tour could be an interesting take on the country. I did use a gay travel agency for Bali a few years back, and had a very positive experience.

I have never heard of a GAY travel agency in India, I don't think it matters if the agency is Gay or not as long as they are good at what they do. I mean what do you expect as a Tour guide , a HIJRAH???

That would work. I expect to be carried on a litter by 4 nubile Indian men.
No you should read the itinerary. There are at least 2 nights escorted to a gay bar. One night escorted to a gay party to meet gay locals. 3 massages in hotel (I assume they are legit). If they delivered as promised, it would be an interesting way into the local gay culture which could be fascinating to meet people one might not ordinarily have access to. To talk to them & hear of their experiences.

I made a thread earlier this year about India. I have no experience with gay agencies or any travel agency in India.

There are only 2 gay bars: 1 in Mumbai and 1 in Delhi. The Mumbai one is very easy to find (Colaba district near the Taj Mahal hotel).

My 2 cents: If you can go independent, do it. Except that money is not an issue at all. Be aware: Being gay is a VERY allien concept to most Indians so it will be hard to get in contact with locals. You can always try the usual websites.

If you have time, a side trip to Sri Lanka (I am just back from there) can be very interesting.

send me a pm if you have any specific question.

I would be grateful for any more recent experience and advice regarding Indjapink, or other gay travel guides or companies in northern India. Planning a trip to golden triangle and also buddhist heritage sites around Veranasi. thx, SF.

Any Updates on this company? I'm thinking about India this year, and I'd like to go on a gay tour if this is a good tour. They seem responsive via email.

ok..I was toying with this before, but now I'm really going to book something.. anyone use this company yet? I have found a lot of reviews (both good and bad) on Tripadvisor, but most of the positive ones are folks that have <5 posts on Tripadvisor (maybe shills?).. I'm a little weireded out about sending money around the world via wire transfer without knowing they are legit.

6 years on after my 2010 post in this thread and several visits to India since, I still think that doing it independently is the way to go. Meeting locals if that is one of your interests is even easier now. But except for a couple of saunas in Delhi, there is no organised scene. It is a shock to the senses but it is an incredible and diverse country.

I agree. We did a tour with india pink, and after that twice on our own.
There is no big gay scene in India, so india pink gives you a ‘gay’ guide that isn t gay, maybe bi. the only ‘gay’ exoerience they provide is a massage, we had 4, and only twice we had a ‘bi’ masseur. In India everybody is bi for the right tip.

nowadays, you find everything on internet
a good gay club in mumbai is kitty Su.
Expensive (european price) but nice !

i learned that most indian men are into some boy fun. Really ! Just look in their eyes. They say no, maybe and then yes..... lol

i had a lot of massages in Kerala, it s mostly completely naked, or a very very small underwear that they take off after 5 moves ! So it s almost always more than just a massage... i had a lot of therapists that took their clothes off too. Indians have nice uncut dicks. they like western guys. Kerala is the place to be, also Goa for naughty massages. In India always male by male what is good for gay guys !
(Try siddhalepa spa in colombo sti lanka, arya spa in Goa,....)

grindr is good working and you can ask for information

Spartacus sauna in Delhi was hot if you like indians. It s closed now.

in Delhi there is cruising park also. We walked there but didn t meet guys....

even our driver was handsome, our driver came to our room at night to ask at what time we want leave the day after.... but it was clear he came with other interests.... in India nobody is gay but they all like male bodies. 😉

so , have fun, open your eyes and try india on your own !!

just returned from thrivandrum kerala and agree with the post above me, nowadays grind works in the most rural places as well but be aware, indians cheat you because of lack of privacy. india is a wonderful country and a time gap between middle age and apple @ bro's , many indians tent to have same sex because of the cultural issues when it come to women and pre marriage sex, so lower your expactations and sharp your senses when moving around its flirting everywhere...
