Using the DB lounge in MUC for a couple hours of work?

Next week I'll have a couple of hours to spend in MUC before meeting up with a family member (coming from the airport). I wonder if the DB lounge in MUC is suitable for getting a couple hours work done (laptop + internet).

I have been in a couple DB lounges and there was wifi but no free wifi.

Just out of curiosity, if you not traveling, but rather waiting, why do you assume you would be able to entry the DB lounge?

Regards

Because I will be travelling before the wait :)

You must hold a first class train ticket (or a Bahncard Comfort) to be allowed into the lounge.

IIRC, the DB lounges at Berlin Hbf and Frankfurt Flughafen Bahnhof have paid T-Mobile hotspot access, so I assume that the Munich Hbf will have the same.

If you don't have another form of web access (such as a broadband aircard), you can buy a 24-hour pass that is good at any T-mobile hotspot for the 24-hour duration. For example, I purchased a 24-hour pass at the Westin Leipzig on a Friday evening and was able to use it at the DB lounge in Berlin the next morning.

Thanks a lot for the answers so far. Are the DB lounges generally quite enough to be a good work environment?

Depends on the daytime.
In the morning and in the affternoon the lounges are very much crowded and quite noise.
Between 10am - 3pm itīs ok.

I wouldnīt consider the DB lounge to have a phone conference though.

Thanks a lot! I'll be around from about noon to 4pm and don't plan on a phone conference so I should be fine.
