My German's not terrible, but because this is "legalese," I'd appreciate a little help to be sure my understanding is correct. It's from a confirmation of a reservation for Oberammergau Passion Play tickets. My understanding from speaking directly with the O'gau ticket office is that my the credit card whose number I supplied on the application form will automatically be charged for the full amount, but I can't seem to make the text below say that. Can someone confirm that this doesn't require me to take any further action to have the tickets charged to my card?

Okay, I think that says if I don't pay on time they cancel the booking, right?

Does that say they'll automatically bill the credit card (and thus I can ignore the earlier warning about timely payment)?

Something about using my credit card for a monthly supply of Ramen noodles? (just kidding). Seriously, any bearing on my having to do anything other than just let them bill the tickets to my credit card?

Yes, they will charge your card. As long as the charge goes through, you wouldn't have to worry about cancellation.

This is reminding people to make sure they have sufficient available credit on their cards in order to allow for timely payment. (In Germany, many cards have monthly credit limits because they function as charge cards not credit cards).

Indeed I am. That's the form I used to make the ticket request, and on which I included my credit card number and signature. The confirmation I quoted above resulted from said ticket request. The payment terms in section 3 are a little confusing since it talks about making payment within 21 days, but my understanding (reinforced by soitgoes' confirmation) is that my credit card will be billed for the full amount on or before that date (thus constituting the payment in full referred to) and there's no need for me to try to somehow otherwise make a different payment by May 21.

Probably because the normal form of payment in Germany is bank transfer (Überweisung) and often Germans will prefer an Überweisung to a credit card payment.

I wasn't trying to order tickets to anything, but thank you, I needed to know this information - I am trying to order a jersey from a German soccer team, and they still won't accept credit cards. It's an extra $35 for an international bank transfer from Bank of America, and my entire order would have cost about $105 including shipping. But it's probably good that I don't have this soccer jersey.
