35 mins enough at HAM?

Landing at 555pm and leaving at 635pm. Same plane. Will that be enough time to get thru if I have my boarding pass? Do I need to go thru immigration or can I go thru flight connections?

Edit: 40 mins, sorry not 35.

Mods can you please correct?

Thanks

What airline? Where from and to?

The only place from which I've flown to HAM in recent years has been AMS (3-4 times a year, always on KLM and thus into Terminal 1), and although I must admit that I've not paid very close attention I *think* that arrangements are different depending on whether the aircraft is parked on a jetway or out on the apron. ISTR that if you're parked on a jetway you walk straight out into the departure area (so no problem getting back onto the same flight) but if you're bussed in you are dropped in a different part of the airport.

Its BA, lhr-ham-lhr. Same plane. Is there a fight connecting area to go right back out or do I have to clear immigration/customs?

The UK is outside the Schengen area, and it's many years since I last arrived at HAM from outside Schengen... so I'm afraid I can't help you.

I've found that the people at HAM are pretty good at answering emails, so your best bet might to email them (FHG-at-ham.airport.de), explain that you are transferring between non-Schengen flights at Terminal 1, and ask them if you need to go through passport control. There is also a phone number - +49 40 5075 – 1111. As they're publishing this number on the English "Contact us" page I think one can assume that they can handle calls in English.

Great, thanks for your help and the info above.
