Sixt weekend-special at the airport
 

Servus!

When I was at FRA last week I recognized an advertisement by sixt.

It was about a weekend-special, only valid at the airport and neither bookable online nor by phone. Minimum of 2 days, 19,99€ a day including insurance, any available vehicle.

As the counter was already closed I did not have the opportunity to ask for some more information.

So, however, does anybody have any experience with this special? Is it possible to do a reservation in advance (at the airport) or do I have to come to the airport and hope that there is any car left?

Maybe I'll be at FRA this weekend, if the counter is open I'll just ask for the details & report ...

Finally I got some more information about the offer:
(maybe this should be moved into the sixt-thread)

- only on weekends, Friday 16:00 till Monday, 9:00
- only at the airport
- no reservation possible, you have to come to the counter and ask if there is a car available. Obviously, you have the best chance if you try to rent on friday.
- the ad says "every car", the saff says "normally the best car might be a mercedes C, BMW 3 etc."

19,99€ per day + 19% tax including insurance
