MUC airport closed until 12pm Dec 2nd23
 
Due to heavy snowfall Munich airport has suspended all flights until noon today. Check with you airline before you try to get to the airport. In addition SBahn Services are suspended due to the weather.

MUC now closed for the whole day, no flights until first thing Sunday.

Capacity issues at other airports that took the diverting aircraft.

FRA in particular took in around 20 widebodies early in the morning before they reached capacity.

Further aircraft then had to go elsewhere. DUS, STR, CDG, BRU, AMS, etc etc

Also MUC is planning to operate only one runway tomorrow (as per NOTAM)
