Left Item @ MUC Airport- Anyone from the US bring it back for me? $$

I dropped my favorite German hat that was a gift from my grandfather at the airport and it was turned into the lost property office at the Munich Airport. i have 3 months to pick it up but they will not ship abroad.
i would be willing to pay someone to pick it up for me and bring it stateside.
is anyone flying to the US from MUC that would be willing to pick it up for me and mail it to me once they are back stateside? I am based in BHM but can also travel to ATL if needed.
if so please PM me. Many Thanks!

I can pick it up on Monday and mail it to US. How big is it? Will it fit in the M sized box listed here: https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden/p...paeckchen.html

If so then the shipping will cost 16€ and the box another 2€: https://www.dhl.de/en/privatkunden/p...verpacken.html

The DHL/Post office is just beside the L&F in MUC, happy do it, will only take 15 mins of my time.
