SXF Berlin connecting flight in terminal D

easyJet TLV-SXF terminal D - layover 60 min - D8 terminal D SXF-CPH. Do I make this with hand luggage only? Two separate tickets are not booked yet.

Difficult to estimate. SXF has become quite unpredictable. On a normal weekday, quite likely that you will make it, but in peak times on weekends or during holidays it can be risky. It will much depend on the time and how many other flights arrive at the same time. If there are a few non-Schengen flights, queues at passport control can be long. And there is no transfer corridor at terminal D, so you have to leave the arrival zone and clear security again together with all departing passengers. While distances are not long, security can take some time. I would allow more time, I think.

There is no way I would do this. On two separate flights you don't have a connection, just two separate flights. I don't know U2's specific procedures, but in the worst case you'll have to buy a new ticket to CPH.

Thank you for replies. I monitored that Wednesday U2 mainly lands 20-30min ahead of schedule. That would be 1h 20min before DY CPH departure. I guess I skip this option. Problem is that departures with connecting flight mainly leaves from TLV to Scandinavia as early as 05:30 to 08:45. U2 departure is 13:10. Kiwi sells for same reservation these two flights but I am sceptic to use their service. Statement is: we refund your missed connecting flight if you won’t make it.
