Connecting EK-UA in Frankfurt. Will I have enough time?

I have two different tickets/PNRs on different airlines

Arriving from Dubai into Frankfurt on Emirates (scheduled arrival at 08:50)
Departing for Newark on United (scheduled departure at 11:20)

I will likely have to clear immigration, retrieve bags and recheck and pass through security.

Assuming flights are on time, is 2.5 hours enough?

Assuming planes are on time, 2.5 hours should be enough even in FRA

You will arrive in Terminal 2, United departs from Terminal 1. It takes around 10-15 min between the terminals by the Skyline train.
Check In deadline seems to be 60 min in FRA. If the plane is on time you should be outside of customs in 30-40 min. Normally you should be at the end of the United check in line around (or before) 9:50. Deadline is 10:20.
Doable if things run normal. What happens if you miss your United flight? Flexible ticket?

If the flights are on time, it seems that you can clear all the things in 2.5 hours.

But if you have to spend time in the queue for any unexpected reason, it is better to go for airport meet and greet services in Frankfurt. So, you would not have a worry of catching up connecting flight until you would reach there.

Below two sites, I found from the Google, see if it helps to you:
