2hr Plane to Train Connection at FRA Doable?

Flying SQ 25 into FRA arriving at 10:40am (assuming on time). I'll need to clear immigration (US passport) and collect a checked bag. I booked a 12:52 ICE train.
Have I given myself enough time or should I change to a later train?

Of course nobody can tell you if your flight will be on time on the day of your journey, but in general, 2 hours should be more than enough for a connection like this.

I have a US passport, and I have often entered Germany in Frankfurt. I agree with bacchus85, you should have no problem. I have rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes for immigration in Frankfurt, and the luggage generally arrives within 20 minutes or so.

I did miss this window once, when United could not get one of the cargo doors open on a 777. After 90 minutes, they sent all 60 people to fill out lost luggage claims... But if you want to plan for every eventuality, you would have to plan for a train the next day!

Loads of time (assuming the flight is on time). Having collected your suitcase, you'll be at the ICE tracks in about seven to ten minutes. In other words, you have two hours from wheels-down to the baggage hall.

Not anyhow an issue if the flight is on time

And even in the unlikely event that you miss the train, take the next one.No problem with flexible ticket, otherwise buy a new one. You can even hold 2 reservations with one ticket if that´s an issue.
