UA Code Share connecting through Frankfurt

Hello, Could anyone help me with United Airlines codeshare connecting flights? We're leaving Barcelona for San Francisco on a UA codeshare flight which begins with a Lufthansa flight connecting to United via a one hour-15 minute stopover in Frankfurt. Aside from not being able to get seat assignments on the Lufthansa leg until check-in, will I need to go through immigration/customs while on this stopover? I presume we're not leaving the airport, just changing terminals and I believe that United is checking our luggage through to San Francisco. As an infrequent international traveler, I'm always worried when a stopover is so short. Thanks.

There are no immigration controls within the Schengen Area, of which both Spain and Germany are members. So FRA will work just like a DOM-INT transfer in the US. Get off the plane, go to gate. Remember that there is extra security for US bound flights, but it's still plenty of time.

Incorrect.

You will go through passport control in Frankfurt as you'll be leaving the Schengen area in Frankfurt. The extra security is usually a security interview before the gate.

You will most likely arrive in terminal A and depart from terminal Z. Follow the signs. If everything is on time, you have enough time.

Your question really has nothing to do with Spain/Portugal. You're asking about a connection in Frankfurt.
You are flying LH with a connection to UA.
You won't be changing terminals ... UA and LH are in T1.
Yes, your luggage will be checked through.
1:15 is eminently doable in Frankfurt. Your question has been asked and answered myriad times over. From the UA forum and the LH forum

Since your question is about what happens in Frankfurt, I'm going to move this to the Germany forum.

Thank you all for your help. Apologies for not checking the correct forum. I should have selected the UA forum, but as an infrequent user, I was having a difficult time trying to determine where to search on this topic before posting a new thread. I appreciate your patience.
