Ground transportation: Füssen to MUC -- recommendations?

I need to arrange early morning ground transportation from Füssen to MUC next month. I see that the taxi companies in Füssen have a centralized website, but it doesn't seem to provide information on airport transfers. Perhaps a non-taxi airport transfer service would be better.

Does anyone here have experience with this? I'd be grateful for any ideas or recommendations. Thanks.

The hotel you will stay at can help you book a reliable transfer to the airport. You may also contact the tourism office in Fuessen: http://www.fuessen.de/service/untern...i-fuessen.html

Usually a fixed rate is agreed upon booking. The approved shuttle/transfer/taxi operators can be found here: http://www.munich-airport.de/de/cons...-z/R/index.jsp

In addition, if you google "taxi fussen to flughafen munchen" (without the umlats) you will get some sites with sample prices, etc.

Now I'm getting somewhere! Thanks, folks. Looks like 210 or so Euros and two hours on the road.

BTW, I had done some Googling, but the sites I found seemed like general airport transfer sites, with little or no real connection to Füssen.

I had a look, it´s a 3 hour ride with 1 train change. It´s between 23 and 33,40 € per way. Blacklane claims over 300. In general taxis aren´t a good option for such a long ride. If possible I would always take a rental car or the train.

The OP also mentioned "early morning", no trains at that time of day

Another possibility would be to take a late train to M and then MUC and stay at one of the airport hotels. Just buy a Bayern Ticket for 23-31EUR

First train out of Füssen on weekdays is at 4:52, making the arrival at MUC around 8, more or less, depending on how many connections one wants to deal with. So it depends on just how early the OP means as to whether the train is a viable option.

Define "early morning". 5 am sounds more like "after midnight".
