FRA airport T1 => T2 transfer MCT?
I am trying to book a 1h45m connection on 2 separate itineraries, arriving in T1 on a *A flight (schengen) and then connecting to T2 on a OW flight (non-schengen).
Is this connection doable or is it too tight of a connection? |
MCT for FRA T1-T2 is 55-60 min, 105min is doable.
Code:

Just to be precise, it's not a connection, it's a completely new and separate flight itinerary. I see you are a AA EXP (where you may be accustomed to protection across different tickets), so I'll point out that European airlines generally do not provide protection on separate itineraries (and I'm not aware that are any that do so across *A and OW). So, to make a long story short, if for any reason you don't make your OW flight out of T2, the remainder of that itinerary (for example, the return flight) will be auto-cancelled and you'll likely have no recourse to refunds or rebooking. You may find a sympathetic agent, but don't count on it. In cases like this, I would always book a three-hour window to be safe (especially if either one is a long haul flight).
