Me too, but UK is not part of SEPA.

The UK is certainly part of SEPA, don't misslead anybody. And a USD bank transfer is something totally different. DKB charged you 12,50 EUR for any amount below 12500 EUR converting at interbank rate. Receiving small amounts outside SEPA ialways has been an expensive exercise. Paypal is your friend.

SEPA works fine for all in Europe, I frequently move money between Sweden and Germany.

Not for Andorra and not for Vatican City :D. But for the entire rest including all EU and EFTA countries, San Marino and Monaco.

The transfer is from the UK to my DKB account. But then I found the EUR 12,5 fee for receiving money from the UK. If UK is part of SEPA then there shouldn't be a fee like that

It is for converting GBP into EUR as cleary said in their GTC. SEPA transfers are free of charge if in EUR currency. Their must be some disadvantage for the British for refusing to integrate into the EU.

The funny thing is that SEK is part of it although it's not EUR. DKB doesn't charge for conversion from SEK as far as I know. I don't know about DKK, and certainly not GBP.

Their GTC is very hidden - a lot more hidden than the banks that I have account with in Denmark, Sweden even Hong Kong - usually you only need to look at a rather simple price list and you should be able to see all their fees very clearly listed. However I think DKB's price list is rather unclear because although it states that's it's 0, it's 0*, that * is not even a * but a number and then you have to scroll down to the small fine print. I guess it's very German since this is what is like on menus in restaurants - telling you which item contains food colouring or some chemicals.

The funny thing is that in the statement it stated very clearly what they charged you, which one of my Swedish bank account would never disclose that information so clearly like that. I think it's very nice that they do that - at least I can find out easily that I have been charged.

I have learned the lesson.
