And then with saperate ticket to amsterdam (final desination is chicago) with klm with 2 hours between this 2 flights(10:10-12:10) do you think is it possible to do it? And help me please if anyone know when i will take my bag where i should go for check in my bag again at klm . thank you

Should be able to make it. Long day though. Normally your bag is faster than you walking.

Check in for next flight is near bag area? I know check in for klm is at terminal 1 and my flight is also going at terminal 1

Welcome to FlyerTalk... since your query is airport related, it has been moved to,the dedicated Germany forum. I've changed your post title to make it clearer what you are trying to find out.

There is nothing like a "Terminal 1" at TXL, only Terminal A, Terminal C and Terminal D (and B and E, but you won't recognize them as discrete terminals).
Obviously you are flying into TXL on Aegean, they usually arrive around gate A6 or A7. Note that TXL does not have a concentrated baggage claim area in Terminal A, but single baggage carousels right if you enter the terminal building. KLM flights depart from Terminal D, i.e. you have to pick up your luggage at your arrival gate, carry it to Terminal D, which is about 400 meters, and check-in there at the KLM desk. Given that the A3 flight is on time or not significantly late, 2 hours are fine. |
I agree it's probably do-able as long as there are no major delays - but I would never do a "connection" on seprate tickets with less than four hours in between flights, especially if my final destination is a long-haul one. Have you already booked the flight from ATH?
|
Yes because i couldnt leave at tuesday and i had to be at chicago before 10pm wednesday. Well lets say i am landing on time i am taking my bags on time then i am going at exit and then trying to find terminal D? I dont want to lose time by searching where to go. If anyone know how to go from bag area of terminal A to check in desks at terminal D please tell me.
|
Terminal A is shaped as an octagon with 15 gates. So arriving at A6/7 it really doesn't make much difference which way you turn after picking up your luggage and exiting the gate. The connection with Terminal D is near A15, so if you are A7 or greater, turn right after exiting and in about 30 seconds of walking you'll see signs showing you the way to D. It really is very easy and almost impossible to get lost or go in a wrong direction!
|
So i will not have to exit terminal A just follow signs to terminal D my only question is this sign will send me at check in desks or on gates for lets say comnection flights. I mean like in Athens arrivals with departutes and check in desks arent on the same floor.

Its all on the same level, no worries at all. Two hours is plenty.
|
Unless the flight from Athens is majorly delayed it's easy peasy, TXL is more like a big bus station than an airport.
|
Easy. Peasy. Lemon...squeezy. Nothing can go wrong.
