What is going on in Munich this weekend?
 
I'm looking to make a last minute trip to Munich this weekend and the hotels are packed. There are no rooms at any Marriott, SPG, or Hilton property. Is there something special going on this weekend?

Munich gets very busy in the weeks before Christmas because of visitors to the Christmas markets. It's the same every year. I've just looked, and the prices are high, but there are rooms available in the €200-€300 bracket that are not that bad.

Last week the Heim+Handwerk trade show was in town.
