Question The Squaire @ FRA

Does anyone know a list of restaurants in The Squaire at Frankfurt Airport? I'm staying at the Hilton there soon and am just wondering what's available.

...or is it better to just go in to the city?

Depends how much time you have.

The Japanese (sushi) is OK.

Paulaner is a predictable chain restaurant- good service though and food is OK.

Restaurant at the Hilton (full service) is pretty good actually.

Back in december 2011 I had couple of meetings in the Squaire and I was really impressed with the whole development ^^ I have not even left the building or put on my coat as I was staying at the Hilton and my meetings were on the other side of the building.

There are several instructions in the FCT FAQ thread in words and in pictures as well as on maps.

There is a rental car center on the lower level in Terminal 1.

Thanks. We shouldn't have any issues getting there. We intend to pickup the car and drive it back to HGI, pick up our luggage and leave from there.

Just sort of bumping this thread as the busiest travel season in Europe is approaching.

The REWE supermarket at The Squaire is also a rather good place to pick up take away-foods.

They've got pre-packaged salads, sandwiches and sushi etc. plus lots of choice of hot foods at the deli counter. Also good german breads and rolls, hams and cheese plus soft drinks, beer and wine to be had for take away.

Can you also purchased bottled water (just regular kind-not sparkling) there? If no, is there somewhere there you can?

Yes, but remember that REWE is before security. You still won't be able to take it from REWE onto the plane.
