When do you want to travel? 99% are closed until the spring.
What is nice and supposed to be one of the best places is http://www.sarcletti.de/ at Rotkreuzplatz. They open again in Febuary.

one more came to my mind. http://www.daseismeer.de is nice as well in Pestalozzistraße. They might be open as it is a regular cafe as well.

I recommend ordering an Eisschokolade at the cafe that has the outdoor tables with umbrellas in Marienplatz. Nothing like an Eisschokolade (ice cream IN chocolate milk) while watching the Glockenspiel!
