MUC and things to do
Will have a 4-hour layover in MUC with my 3-year-old in May. Is this a large airport with amenities to keep his interest? Recommended eateries? Good viewing areas of planes taking off?
If this seems like a silly query, I'll make note that I'm a bit rusty with long-haul travel due to said 3-year-old. |

If this seems like a silly query, I'll make note that I'm a bit rusty with long-haul travel due to said 3-year-old. Between T1 and T2, there´s a huge plaza with nice shops and family friendly restaurants and often there are activities lile beach-volleyball tournements, ... Next to McDonnalds. there is also a child care center, where you can "park" your junior in a softplay playground with excellent babysitters and many other kids to play with. |
Thank you for the response. The play area is great info to have and probably what we need to kill some of the 4-hour layover.
I'm going to ask the moderator why my post was moved to the Germany forum as I am specifically inquiring about Munich airport and not Germany. |
If you search this forum for "MUC layover" you will find many other threads with suggestions on what to do during a layover in MUC.

You could go to the Besucherpark. There are multiple things going on there from time to time including a children's flea market.

Take a look at the MUC Homepage, maybe you find sth. interesting. There are several things recommended.
