Fruehlingsfest Munich
Hello,
I am planning on spending a few days in Munich during the Spring Fest, not sure what to expect. Should we reserve a table in one of the tents, or are tables available on a walk-in basis? I can't seem to find any information on the 2011 event other than dates (which tents are open, etc). Are the crowds managable, less touristy than Oktoberfest? Any tips/guidance/thoughts are appreciated. GM |
Not sure what it is like these days but the few times I was there (as a teenager), it was something like a cheap version of the Oktoberfest.
Back in time it was not necessary to reserve a table. |

Hello,
no need to reserve at all. It's nice and small - not really compareable to Octoberfest but still nice. If you have never been do go for a couple of hours. Just don't expect anything like the Octoberfest. We enjoy going on a nice day for a Maß or two.... Chris |
