Wifi in Frankfurt

I'll be in Frankfurt for a trade show, and the hotel wants $30/day for Wifi. I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for either free Wifi in Frankfurth (google wasn't all that helpful) or another solution.

I'm considering Boingo as one option. Any have experience with them, or have suggestions for another way to go?

Thanks! Just passed my first million with AA....good times.

Free or low cost wifi seems to be a rarity there. I used Boingo Global ($59/mo for up to 2000 min) last month as it was available at both hotels (hotels wanted $26 euros/day) and it worked flawlessly. Best to see if your hotel is on their list before subscribing. I used in a couple travel airports and canceled it on the last day with only about 40 min unused.

how long will you stay in Germany? sometimes a germany 3G USB stick can be a relatively cheap and reliable solution. (exists in prepaid)

Thanks for the suggestion. I will be there for a week so the 60 Euro for the device plus the 20 Euro for the plan won't save any money.

I might just be stuck paying the hotel's astronomical fees...

You can buy a usb stick for 10EUR (http://shop.vodafone.de/Shop/picknmi...nId=prod233823). But I don't know if they will deliver it to your hotel adress. You can sell the stick after you used it, so you will pay nothing for it.
