Is there a place to leave luggage at smaller train stations?

Specifically, I was wondering about Aschaffenburg.
I can have a layover that would allow me to wander about the town for a couple hours, but was curious as to what to do with my luggage?

Aschaffenburg Hbf has facilities to store your luggage !
Absolute no-brainer !!!

Aschaffenburg is not a village ! And the Hauptbahnhof/Hbf (central station) has luggage lockers ...

The DB site for Aschaffenburg Hbf lists a Gepäckaufbewahrung:

Small suburban stations won't necessarily have storage facilities, but stations serving anything from a medium-sized town upwards will always have baggage lockers.

Thanks everybody. I appreciate it.

How much time should I plan on spending in Aschaffenburg? Would 2-3 hours allow me to see much there?

3 hours should be enough to walk around and have a look at the most important things (centre with its churches, Schloss Johannisburg, the Pompejanum...)
