Caesars credit card application

Does Caesars credit card come with Caesars Platinum status? Is it for good as long as being a cardholder? Or just for the first year?

Because I found the fine print of this statement and confusing me.

"Spend $0.01 in the first 90 days on qualifying purchases made with your Caesars Rewards® Visa Signature® Credit Card, minus returns, to upgrade to Platinum status. Spend amount excludes balance transfers and cash advances."

TIA

My understanding is its just the first year. After that, you need to spend $5,000 a year to keep it

Some people on here had offers to get diamond with the 5k instead

I've had the card since it came out and you used to be able to get Platinum status with $5K in spend and they had a VIP card with $10K a year in spend that got you a lot of the diamonds benefits like express cashier service and use of the priority taxi and buffet lines but it's my understanding they eliminated both those benefits a few years ago and the platinum is just for new card holders for the first year.

Technically they don't give you Platinum but they give you 5,000 tier credits for spending $5k, which is the same number of credits required for Platinum

I'm think this is new for 2025 and I can't guarantee anyone else will get it but CET is now giving a free night for every 5K TC earned, up to 7 nights a year.

When I spent the $5K on my existing CET credit card I earned Diamond ( via a targeted offer) and also 5K TC for spending $5,000 in a year.

I received an email a week later for a free night and used it for a Versailles tower suite on a Friday so there may be more value to the credit card than they are letting on.

It says the 5K TC = one free night is good for 2025.

We aren't going to Vegas until October and are about 9K TC short of Diamond so we should end up with Diamond for 2026 and 2 more free nights.

The free night I recieved does expire 1/31/2026 so if I get more and they also expire 1/31/26 we won't be able to use them

New Caesar's credit card with $149 annual fee. Comes with $100 dining credit, $50 slot pay and a free room up to $300 annually.

SUB is 20,000 points and 2,500 tier credits.

Seems like a great deal for a Caesars regular. More info here:

I'll probably grab it next year as spending $5K will bring me 1/2 way to Diamond ( assuming it's still 15K in 2026) but it sucks using a 5/24 spot.

It would be great if they had an upgrade offer similar to the SUB at some point.

Agreed...does bread ever offer them?

No idea as these are new cards so no chance to offer a card upgrade yet.

Backing up a bit the old Caesars card which I have gives 5K TC for spending $5k a year whereas the new car requires a $10K spend.

If the old card keeps the 5K TC for $5K spend I'll just keep that card

If my current card gives 5K TC for spending $5K vs $10K on the new card I'm better off keeping my current card.

I haven't done any research so I have no idea how the current card T bonus will work,
