staying at MGM but play at Cosmo

Random question -

Im doing a comp stay with MGM for a few nights with Freeplay along with Resort credits obviously they expect me to gamble a good amount. Im wondering if I gamble at Cosmo would that be the same for my THEO and future comps?

Maybe not initially but once theyre fully mixed on 2/1?

Reason being is Im a few thousand points from the next tier at Cosmo would like to hit that tier to at least enjoy benefits until 1/31 at Cosmo. Plus might earn some type of Winter Comp Offer and other stuff prior to 1/31.

I dont really want MGM to be like you didnt gamble with us and we spent $2,000 to get you here ($1,100 suite, FreePlay then F&B credits). So kind of mixed feelings, plus Cosmo is just better overall.

I know the points will get added to my point counter next year but Im not sure thats quite the same thing.

If you are really worried, just play at both properties.

Dont have a big enough gambling budget to split.

They generally expect me to gamble 5k minimum Im going with half that as is but maybe Ill get lucky lol.

Just was hoping maybe I could gamble at Cosmo and MGM still be just as happy as if I gambled it at Aria.

Go with Cosmo first then.
Comp offers are not predictable.

Play at Cosmo then play dumb and say you thought it was the same with all the announcements about the pending program mergers.

honestly it doesn't sound like you are going to miss out on anything if you aren't bringing much to play with.
don't play for offers, just play to have fun. how your offers are calculated will always be a mystery

I always play for offers and $2,500 is a decent size bankroll to play with.

Exactly thats my dilemma.

Im wondering if not only points are going to be co-mingled with Cosmo, but player ratings as well.

I guess Ill just go where it feels luckiest.

Did you book this offer online through your regular offers or through a host? If you just booked a corporate offer I wouldn't lose any sleep over it for a single trip but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

Booked online pretty good offer I was also booked into a suite thats running $300 a night.

Looking out a few months from now my offers dropped considerably -

The next batch I have is only -

$100 Resort Credit and $65 FreePlay

Which is less than 1/3 of the current offer.

So Im guessing my future offers would be highly based on my play with this stay. I definitely go for the Resort credits and FreePlay.
