Status Match TR Diamond --> Hard Rock Rock Royalty
 

I'll be in Vegas for a work trip this fall and plan to stay in Vegas for 2 additional nights. Currently have TR Diamond via Wyndham status match. 0 credits.

I'm exploring how to make my 2 nights as free as possible and it seems I can match TR Diamond to Hard Rock Rock Royalty. I just want to confirm here that my plan will work.

Head to any Caesars casino and pick up my TR card. Go to Hard Rock and have them match my status to get Rock Royalty. Immediately use my 2 free nights at the Hard Rock (they wouldn't be sold out in September, would they?). It also mentions Rock Royalty gets you access to room upgrades - it probably doesn't hurt to just ask but I'm guessing YMMV since it's already a free night. Question - I assume I will need to pay taxes/fees but will I have to pay the resort fee at the Hard Rock?

For the $100 Bonus Free Play, I plan on going to the slots and do $5 x 20 and then cash out. I don't gamble at all so just looking to maximize my cash. Are there better ways to do this? $1 slots?

Where did you see that HR Las Vegas is tier matching? Might be wrong, but as AFAIK they're not. Maybe you've mistaken it with HR Atlantic City?

Yea, the 2 HR's are not actually related and offers from each location are separate from one another. If you're not to far from AC, it's worth a trip.
