Middling in Sports Betting

Any FTers on here frequent sports bettors? I'm wondering how often line movements greater than 3 points occur for NFL and college football lines at the big sports books in LAS.

I'm assuming that the big books start posting odds and accepting bets for NFL and college football starting on Tuesday so potentially 4-5 days of action being taken to move the lines.

For those of you who seek to play the middle, do you run the 2nd bet through without your players card? Will TR/MLife take action against players who bet middles?

Mlife doesn't take a players card for sports bets but there is no rule against a middle

I have a dime on the Jets under 5 1/2 ( minus $120 ) wins for the year at Southpointe which I bet in May and a dime over 3 1/2 wins ( minus $130 ) at Westgate which I bet inn Sept. If the Jets win 4 or 5 games I'm a winner it not I lose a few bucks

College lines tend to move more

Westgate has NFL out Late Sunday/early Monday but they have a line on every nfl game for every week a couple of weeks before the season starts. In other words you can bet a week 16 game right now

I have the NFC plus 2 1/2 for the 2018 Superbowl and obviously they have no idea who is playing

I bet sports often in Vegas so any questions just ask.

Make sure you quote my post so it alerts me if you reply as I don't check this section on the website that often

Westgate (or maybe it's southpoint?) also has a look ahead line as well I think (following week's lines a week early)? This year at least there have been a lot of large line moves. Not surprising considering how many huge upsets there've been (pro and college). TR accepts players card and I haven't had any issues with the very small number of middles I've played. It's not like you're betting red/black or pass/don't (which they do take issue with).

Westgate has a line on almost every game for the entire year before the season starts.............download the app and you can see them.

Some examples are Sb line right now is NFC + 1 1/2 +$105...........Week 13 Redskins plus 6 1/2 Dallas..............week 17 Chiefs plus 2 Broncos

Why would they care if you bet red/black ? All you can do is break even or lose

My understanding is that casinos generally won't rate your play if you take both sides.

Pit bosses miss a lot, I play anywhere from $25 - $150 a spin inside on roulette...........they usually look at your buy in and how much you play first spin, then they wander around and come back when someone has a decent hot to check the payout which is often wrong...........I have been overpaid playing Nickels in vegas several times.

Last time I had $30 on a # and told her 9 black chips so I should have received 9 $100 chips and 30 color ($5) chips to make $1050. I received 9 black and 150 chips....so they paid me $1650

If all people did was play red/black for a few comps the Casino would love it as all you can do is lose
