[Status Match] Upgrade to Caesars Total Rewards Diamond Status
Figured it might be good to have a master-thread for Caesars Total Rewards Status Match opportunities. I'll try to update this post #1 with opportunities as they become available.

April 2017 - Status Match East Coast Premium Cards
Caesars is offering a status match from other East Coast premium players cards. Caesars defines premium, but in general it's usually the tier below top tier that matches to Total Rewards Diamond.
[Valid Now] April 2017 : Status Match from premium card at East Coast Casinos LINK : Upgrade to Diamond Terms and conditions are very vague. No mention of when this match expires. No specific mention of status levels from other casinos. Only thing that is clear is that this match is valid for current and new Total Rewards Members. At this time they have no listed additional terms and conditions, my guess is that they have a list at the Atlantic City market Total Rewards Desks. Receive the following when upgraded: Tier Match through 1/31/18 Free Overnight Stay (Valid Sunday - Thursday) Inactive and Active Total Rewards members will also receive the Tier Match through 1/31/18 Participating Casinos Borgata Tropicana Resorts Golden Nugget Sugarhouse Parx Valley Forge Empire City Resort World |
Is there any wiki on what other casinos you can get from already having TR Diamond? I was looking forward to matching at Tropicana but I've heard they've stopped doing matches.

It's been almost two years now, but Hard Rock in Tahoe did a status match from Total Rewards Diamond when I was there.

Here's a dumb question. Does this offer quality for the $100 celebration dinner? I don't see any mention of it anywhere.

Looks like Total Rewards is doing a status match across all their properties. Available through September 30, matching high-level tiers from other programs to Diamond until January 31. This includes mLife Platinum and Noir.

Don't forget the $100 dining voucher and the pair of free show tickets too. I assume matched tiers would be eligible for these the same as any other Diamond.

I was trying to find more information on the TR website about the free show tickets you mentioned above but with no luck. So how do I take advantage of that offer and which show tickets can I get?
This site updates every month for the shows on the list or they have a hard copy list at the total rewards desk. You have to go to the total rewards desk and ask for your free show vouchers. You then take those vouchers to the box office and tell them which show you want to use them for. |
Note to self: Have an existing TR account before asking for status match.
TR agent said this was a promotion for existing TR members and she asked if I received an e-mail .. then she found out that I didn't have a TR account, so the entire status match thing was nixed (ie, only for targeted members, which meant I wasn't eligible). I said the webpage had no details about targeting but no such luck. The supervisor at the TR desk said that they might "open up the promotion" to all members later on, but TBD. This was at Horseshoe Hammond, IN. Did the offer originate as a targeted e-mail? I thought about going to Harrah's Joliet, now that I have the card.. but it's just too far away from Chicago to be worthwhile, especially if there's no guarantee of a match taking place. |

The Diamond Tier Upgrade Offer (“Offer”) is available to all Total Rewards members who remain in good standing during the entire duration of the Offer Period (defined below) For what it's worth, Total Rewards has never been known to really have their stuff together. I've had trouble redeeming offers at Hammond before. It's a shame, because Hammond has a really nice Diamond Lounge with views of the lake and a relatively large buffet. Joliet (both the town and the casino) is a bit underwhelming, so I understand your reluctance to travel there just to see if you can get the match. |
I had a decent night at Hammond despite the status match fail. It was a busy Friday night and unfortunately, "seat saving" was everywhere among the new penny slots. Casino staff did not intervene either. It was clear that folks were just saving machines for their friends or whomever.. really pathetic when you see that kind of nonsense, definitely not something you'd see in Vegas.
